Avoid These Bunjang Shipping Methods When Buying K-pop Photocards

When purchasing K-pop photocards on Bunjang, many Korean sellers offer inexpensive domestic shipping methods such as Jun-Deung-Gi (Registered Small Mail) and Ban-Gap-Taek-Bae (Half-Price Courier). While these methods are cost-effective within Korea, they come with certain limitations and risks, especially when used in conjunction with international proxy services. At AllThatSales, we prioritize safety, traceability, and delivery speed, which is why we do not use either of these two methods.
What is Semi Registered Mail (준등기)?
"Semi Registered Mail" is a service offered by Korea Post that adds a tracking number to regular postal mail. It is commonly used by sellers for lightweight items like photocards, as it is more affordable than full courier services. However, it is important to understand its limitations:
Semi Registered Mail is not a door-to-door service. Instead, the parcel is simply placed into the recipient’s mailbox.
While it includes a basic tracking number, the tracking is limited and does not confirm final delivery to the recipient personally.
Because there is no signature upon receipt, parcels may be at higher risk of being misplaced or lost, especially in shared buildings or apartment complexes.
Compensation for lost items is either minimal or unavailable in many cases.
Due to these vulnerabilities, AllThatSales does not accept deliveries via Semi Registered Mail, as the risk of loss or unconfirmed delivery is incompatible with our service standards.
What is Half-Price Convenience Store Courier (반값택배)?
"Half-Price Convenience Store Courier" translates to "Half-Price Delivery" and is a low-cost shipping option typically used within South Korea. Operated through convenience store networks (such as CU, GS25, or 7-Eleven) and third-party couriers, this method works as follows:
The sender drops off the parcel at a convenience store.
The parcel is consolidated with other convenience store shipments, which can delay dispatch.
On average, delivery takes 5 to 6 business days, significantly longer than standard courier services.
The recipient must visit a designated convenience store to retrieve the package using a pickup code or mobile notification.
This method is strictly domestic and cannot be redirected to a proxy office unless that office is registered with the convenience store system.
Because of the slow transit time, lack of direct delivery, and operational complexity for proxy services, AllThatSales does not support Half-Price Convenience Store Courier as a shipping option.
Why AllThatSales Uses Only Secure, Trackable Shipping
At AllThatSales, we understand the value and fragility of K-pop photocards and merchandise. Our priority is ensuring that every item reaches our customers safely and on time. For this reason, we only accept and dispatch items using reliable courier services that provide full tracking, insurance options, and confirmed delivery to our office address.
If you are buying items through our proxy service, we kindly ask sellers to use courier-based delivery methods such as CJ Logistics, Lotte, or Korea Post. This policy ensures better traceability and protects both our customers and our service from avoidable delays or losses.
